Where to Eat Pho Near Disneyland
Disneyland sits on Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim. If you have spent the day in the park, you have already seen what dinner costs inside the gates.
This page is for families looking for pho near Disneyland. A real bowl, at a real price, about seven miles south. Pho REDBO is at 7725 Garden Grove Boulevard in Garden Grove. Google Maps puts the drive at 16 minutes, closer to 20 when traffic is heavy.
You do not need a reservation weeks out. You do not need to budget sixty dollars for four people. You need somewhere warm that will feed everyone, including the kid who has been done since two o’clock.
We are open until 10 PM every night, with free parking.
Why Families Drive Out of the Resort for Dinner
Park food fills a gap. It is not the meal anybody remembers from the trip.
By evening, most families have eaten standing up twice. Everyone is tired, warm, and slightly over it. Another counter line with a tray is not going to fix the mood.
Twenty minutes in the car does. You sit down. Someone brings food to the table. The kids stop moving for half an hour, which is the actual goal.
Portions here are large, and prices are what a neighborhood restaurant charges. A bowl of pho runs less than a park entree, and it comes to the table steaming.
You also get a room that is not decorated for anything. After eight hours of theming, that turns out to be restful.
What to Order With Kids
Pho is easier with children than most people expect. The bowl comes plain, and everyone builds their own.
Start a first-timer on Pho Chin, the well-done brisket. It arrives fully cooked and tender, with no surprises. Pho Tai, the rare steak, is the classic order for adults.
For younger kids, Pho Noodles Only is broth and rice noodles for $12. It is mild, it is warm, and nothing on it needs explaining. We have a kids’ menu and high chairs as well.
Pho is Vietnam’s national dish, built on a slow-simmered bone broth that food writers have travelled to Hanoi to chase down.[1] Ours runs 24 hours.
Then there are the Golden Truffle Fries. Nine dollars, crispy, tossed in truffle oil with grated Parmesan. They are meant to be shared, and they rarely make it to the end of the table.
Order one for the table before the pho arrives. It buys you ten quiet minutes while the bowls come out.
Everything travels well if the day has gone long and you would rather eat at the hotel.
Halal Food for Families Visiting Disneyland
Families who keep halal plan trips around food. Near the resort, the options are thin, and most of them are quick-service.
Halal refers to what is permissible under Islamic law, and for meat that covers the slaughter method and the supply chain behind it.[2]
Our Wagyu beef is SICHMA-certified halal. Every dish on our menu is halal except three: meatball pho, rib cubes pho, and shrimp.
To be clear about what that covers: SICHMA certifies the Wagyu beef supply chain. Certificate #00042507STAN2/2C(CV), issued to Stanbroke Beef Pty Ltd, Establishment 203, valid through March 2028. It covers the beef, not the restaurant or the kitchen. You should know exactly where that line sits before you bring your family.
The Los Angeles Times included us in its list of 22 places to eat halal in Southern California.
For a family, the practical part is this. Everyone orders off the same menu. Nobody eats a plain side while the rest of the table has dinner.
We do not serve alcohol.
Getting Here from Disneyland
Harbor Boulevard runs past the main gate, so the drive starts on a street you already know.
From the Disneyland Resort:
- Head south on Harbor Boulevard.
- Take the 22 Freeway westbound.
- Exit Beach Boulevard.
- Turn left onto Garden Grove Boulevard.
- We are on your right, just past Beach.
Google Maps puts it at 16 minutes, or about 20 in heavy traffic. Harbor slows near the resort in the evening, so give yourself the longer number.
Parking is free. There is a lot and street parking. After what you paid to park at the resort this morning, that is worth saying out loud.

Coming After the Park Closes
Fireworks and park close push a lot of people onto Harbor at once. If you are heading our way afterward, two things are worth knowing.
We close at 10 PM. If you are running close to that, call ahead at (714) 622-4896 and we will do our best to take care of you.
On Saturday and Sunday we also close between 3:00 and 5:30 PM. If you leave the park mid-afternoon on a weekend, plan to arrive after 5:30.
Weeknights are the easy option. Walk-ins are usually quick. Friday and Saturday evenings run busier, so call ahead if there are more than eight of you.
